We are the oldest intellectual property law firm in Kyoto.
Our firm was founded as “Niimi Patent Agency” in 1922 as the first intellectual property law firm in Kyoto, Japan. The practice changed its name to “Minori Patent Agency” in 1996 and was subsequently reorganized into “MINORI Patent Profession Corporation”in 2006.
Since 1922, we have been providing our clients professional services in intellectual property such as patents, utility models, designs, trademarks and other IP-related matters. With our long history and extensive experience, we have established close relationships not only with our Japanese but also overseas clients.
